| | | mAx Interview | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
All ET or RTCW players know this famous newcomer. He arrived from nowhere 2 years ago and now he plays at the highest level for a year ...
ToM : Can u tell us more about ur gaming history in both games ET and RTCW?
mAx : Mmmm I started to play ET in summer 2003, it was my 1st online game. I was only playing on pubs, and in some fun teams. Then I joined reload, we were pretty good aimers but without any teamplay. We started improving our skill and we won an OC 1st league vs Insanity and we also reached Eurocup. I leaded rE.et which won an OC vs poison, I also played 4 nationscup seasons. I joined vib at the begining of 2005 and we won OpenCup and Warleagues.

| | | CPL Brazil stop | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
The CPL World Tour moves to Rio de
Janeiro in Brazil this month for the 3rd stop of the CPL World Tour. The $50000
stop in Rio starts on Friday 27th May and runs to Sunday 29th May. The CPL World
Tour stop in Brazil is probably in the most exotic location right on the beach
in Rio at a wonderful hotel. As well as hosting the Painkiller World Tour stop
the event in Brazil will host a $25000 CS tournament.
There will be a tough competition between the Spain stop winner SK|SteLam
and the world tour leader fnatic.Vo0 in the PK section. But fatal1ty,
fnatic.ztrider, play.it`Stermy or SK|zyz will certainly be
ready to sneak to final...
Below is the list of the confirmed CS foreign teams to attend CPL Brazil:

| | | Enemy Territory : Quake Wars Trailer released | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
You can check the trailer
here.
It only contains in-game footage in 3rd person. So it gives more an idea about
the graphics than the game itself.
Graphics look very promising to be honest. But i have a feeling this game is
less conventional 6on6, but more a game like BF1942 and BF2 combined with the
core aspects of RtCW and ET. As it seems, you can use tanks, jeeps etc. So i
really wonder how the 6on6 would be implemented in here. But such answers we
will be known somewhere down the line of 2006.

Congratulations to the winner.
Check the classification

The second place goes to s| -
scelesto with 2 points less than vib.
And on 3rd place runs up rWD -
relaxed WarDogs with 4 points less than the winner
mi5.rtcw started this league but went inactive without playing any
matches... this will not happen anymore !!!

| | | Parodia in final | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
Parodia were clearly superior on supplydepot and although sw_goldrush was
closer they didn't have too much trouble holding on to take the win.
Junk 52 tried to show they deserved their
place in semi-final but mystic's crew played too hard for them. The
teamplay and the skill of the finnish guys is really impressive... They have no
opponent at the moment.

| | | feruS joins U96D | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
Unbelievable for any of us ... feruS the swedish star, former player of saevus and
infensus, decided to join the estonian powerhouse
U-96-das Boot !!!
And intact, the ex-leader of team dignitas undefeated in ET comes back from
inactivity.
Their roster is now composed by 5 estonian players elps, r3vers, gza, night
and intact, and the swedish 15 years old player, feruS. This lineup should
provide them the skill to travel to Dallas next summer.
GL and HF :)

| | | idle.ee redcarded | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
Incredible change in the ET Eurocup !! idle.ee ex-dtekt just got redcarded
before the quarter final... reason : one of their player used shrug bug in the
match against roistot !!
The decision needed 4 days to fall. Clanbase admin took a long time to take the
right decision. They wrote 2 weeks ago, they wont tolerate the use of bugs
anymore and they will ban immediately the team proved to use this kind of bug.
So now, roistot advance to quarter-final but the debate isnt finished. Idle.ee
argues that hitboxes change when using shrug are certainly a "cheat" but then
proning should be also banned for the same reason ...
check it out
here
Let see what will happen ...

| | | feruS leave infensus | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
The ET community is on the mood at the moment, feruS, considered as one of the
three best ET player ever, left this morning the famous clan
Infensus. Now their roster is
only composed by 4 swedish players.
Infensus tried to prepare the very best lineup for the upcoming
Quakecon but they had to change their lineups too many times. Lack of stability and lack of
motivation will maybe drive them to home before going to Dallas...
I wish to ozzy, wuff, feTTe and APE the best luck to fill the 2 spots left.
